Did you enjoy the climate change based, political satire, ‘Don’t Look Up’? It seems that many found it hilarious (me included)! Others were appalled, the reality of the movie’s politics hitting just too close to home and acting as an in-your-face reminder of just how grim our situation is. I laughed my head off during the film while my wife cringed and wanted to turn it off.
Well, this linked news piece about Ben Moss (incoming state House representative in North Carolina’s District 52) and his brilliant idea to solve the energy crisis, is a analogous to ‘Don’t Look Up’. If you’re like me, this story may strike you as so far out there that all you can do is laugh. If you’re like my wife, you may just feel like vomiting. So, click ahead and read on! Why not?
Anyhow, the author does a splendid job of sprinkling humor and sarcasm (my fave) throughout, making this ridiculous tale of truth nearly palatable.
A bill currently in the works in the North Carolina legislature would allocate $50,000 to get rid of free public EV chargers unless free gas pumps are built alongside.
