Renewable Juneau recently presented a series of local, current, and relevant renewable energy and climate policy questions to this fall’s BIG slate of assembly candidates. We offer our sincere thanks to those candidates who took the time from their busy schedule’s to share their thoughts, opinions, and concerns on these important community issues.

Please share widely – with friends, neighbors, family. The large number of candidates may be a bit overwhelming and our candidate survey provides important decision-making material.

While Renewable Juneau does not endorse candidates, we look for individual Assembly members who will work to move our community forward in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and to promote using locally- produced renewable energy over fossil fuels. We hope you will find our candidate questionnaire informative. The candidates’ answers to our questionnaire are attached to this letter. There are some lengthy responses so we encourage you to dig in and read about some of the creative solutions that are offered.
