Tremendous to see these five auto industry pillars speak truth to power! I don’t know about you, but I find this story very encouraging. Granted, all these players need to transition as quickly as possible away from the internal combustion engine and towards electrification of their fleets. But, this seems to be a sign that yes, change is in the air, and in this case, that cliche is literal, the change meaning less carbon dioxide, less nitrous oxides, and less carbon monoxide.
The five — Ford, Honda, BMW, Volkswagen and Volvo — sealed a binding agreement with California to follow the state’s stricter tailpipe emissions rules.
