The New York-based airline said that its climate leadership plans will entail offsetting between 15 billion and 17 billion additional pounds of emissions per year, which the company noted is “the annual equivalent of removing more than 1.5 million passenger vehicles from the road.”

From offsetting over 2 billion pounds of CO₂ emissions to investing in NextGen technology, JetBlue is an industry leader in mitigating climate risk. Sustainable planning is essential to our success—if we aren’t thinking about solutions and working to achieve them it’s not good business.
