Iceland’s first electrified ferry nearly complete!

While Alaska’s governor seeks to shut down the Alaska Marine Highway System in order to pump up PFD checks, other nations continue to pull ahead in the global electrification race. Iceland’s first electrified ferry, a 70-meter vessel equipped with a 3,000 kWh battery pack, will have a capacity of 550 passengers and 75 cars.
