The Juneau Carbon Offset Fund a special project of Renewable Juneau. Funds generated from the purchase of carbon offsets, donations, and occasional grants, eliminate heating oil emissions by switching oil-based heating systems to carbon-free, high efficiency, hydro-powered air source heat pumps for income-qualified Juneau households. In addition to slashing emissions from these homes, homeowners realize at least a 50% savings in their heating bills!

For the remainder of your footprint that still exists, incurred from travel, shipping, fossil fuel heat or transportation, visit the Fund website to purchase carbon offsets.
