The Alaska Carbon Reduction Fund (ACRF) and formerly known as the Juneau Carbon Offset Fund a special project of Renewable Juneau. Funds generated from the purchase of carbon reduction ‘tools’, donations, and grants, eliminate heating oil emissions by switching oil-based heating systems to carbon-free, high efficiency, hydro-powered air source heat pumps for income-qualified southeast Alaska households. In addition to slashing emissions from these homes, homeowners realize a minimum average of 50% savings in their heating bills!
